UPDATED (Shooter): Ooops... I'm in the middle of fixing up the LanVictims website. We made all these cool changers to the backend system for MotherLan but unfortunately they wernt made on LanVictims. So im re-making them all now. Sorry if you receive wierd emails etc.

UPDATED2 (Shooter): And done. It should all be nice and smooth now. After acouple of hours re-coding the motherlan pages back into LV pages.. (they were originally LV pages) its all done. Propor mass email sent off (i hope).

After a very long break, Lanvictims is once again running an event. Details are as follows:

Date: Saturday 31st May 2008
Time: approx. 10.30am-10pm
Price: Still only $10
Player limit: 30
Venue: Newmarket Bowls Club, 212 Ashgrove Ave, Ashgrove, QLD 4060 BRISBANE
Parking Notes: There should be plenty of parking, but if the bowls club parking is full, drop your gear off and then park in the street.

This is our first event at this venue, so setup might take a little longer and packup is approximate. People will be at the venue from approx 9.30am setting up.

There hasn't been a Lanvictims in a long time, so lets make sure the first event is a good one!

I have now found us a venue so now it's just a matter of deciding on a date and sorting out the specifics. I'll provide more details once a date has been set.

Still haven't found a new venue yet, though I've been very busy so I haven't been looking too often. I spoke to another venue last week, but it was way to expensive for us.

If anyone reads this and knows of a hall that costs ~$200/day, has tables and chairs, and reasonable parking then please let me know via email or pm.

Until then, I'll keep looking for a venue and will let everyone know when I eventually find something.

You might have guessed it has been quiet on the lan front for a while. Also the forums had been over run by spam bots. Well after removing over 1K spam bots, deleting 800+ private message spams we are spam free (cross's fingers).

To register now you have to pick the cute putty cats and not the cars. A picture explain this more, so head to http://www.lanvictims.com/phpbb/profile.php?mode=register and see. Also if you are one of those people who think the goverment is tracking your thoughts and use a open proxy server, bad luck. The site will now ban you (& all the spam bots).

The points system has been updated. (i know it took a while). So after the Mother Lans and 2 lv's we now have the exact same leader as before! Dafugg!
